Cleaning Order of Operations
Share
When cleaning an entire house, it can be complicated to know what to do, and when. So here is the Cleaning Order of Operations and the reasons why.
Roof
The roof is going to be the highest point. Debris from the roof will enter the gutters, get on the siding and drop the the ground level.
Gutters
Debris from the gutters will fall to the ground level and get on the siding.
Vertical Surfaces - Only surfaces that need to be pressure wash. This includes retaining walls, fences, and stairs. This does not include property siding. We want the pressure washed debris to fall onto the flat surfaces.
Flat Surfaces
This includes concrete, decks and patios. These flat surfaces are typically against the siding and debris from the cleaning can kick up onto the siding. That is why this step comes before the siding.
Siding
Once everything has been cleaned, the siding would be next to last. The rinsing of the siding allows for a final rinse of the entire property and a final overview check.
Windows
The last step will always be window cleaning. It is the finishing touch that will leave the property looking fantastic.
